My lovebird? HELP!?!?!?!?!?!?

okay so i have a 1 year old female dutch blue lovebird. she is so friendly and loves everybody! she flies to your head, chirps when you talk to her, and snuggles up against you and does the reguritation movements! shes the perfect little bird and shes so attatched to me! now my question is, she had a tent in her cage that hung from the back and like 24/7 she would hump it! so much...to the point where we had to take it out. now she doesnt do it anymore...thank goodness she didnt find another toy to hump haha.....now anyways, is a male and female behavior? cus im pretty sure shes a girl because i felt the large gap where eggs come out in between her legs....
