What do I get my boyfriend for Christmas?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year, and I'm running out of ideas for presents for him. He always gets me really romantic, sweet things and I want to give him something that makes him feel as happy as I do when I get his presents that he's put so much time, love and effort into. However, I was talking to him about this the other day and he said that guys don't really want anything romantic and sentimental for gifts. They'd appreciate it, but they'd much rather have something useful. Last year for Christmas I got him a snowboard and he really liked that. I need help for this year though!
