E-MAIL QUIERY, DOES HE OR DONT HE ?

my fiance plays pool on yahoo and he gets e mails from web cam companys saying. from yahoo groups, thankyou for your request to join ycam.com . My question is are these automatically sent or would you really have to have requested them and does this poove my man been watching them or clicked on to something relating to them ., thanks for any replies in advance
