Leaving for bootcamp in a little over 2mo's and just met this girl?

Nobody likes rejection, so she probably figured she'd wait a while for you to ask, to spare her from having to ask and maybe being rejected. When you didn't, you left her no choices other than to ask or give up. In fairness to her, you really need to tell her that you're leaving for boot camp, if you haven't told her already. She may still be interested in a two-month fling, and if you get along well enough, you can continue it as a long-distance relationship. Best of luck to both of you.
