Can a prophet work or stay in a sin city?

first off, a prophet wouldn't see it as "sin city". secondly he wouldn't be concerned with finding anything since he IS everything already. if you ascribe to being a prophet then it might be better to get back to basics like: why would i make judgments about things being sinful or not?
